Your Hosts - Christine and David

Christine and David have both grown up in the Waikato region and have lived in Cambridge for over twenty years. In 2000 they purchased the heritage house and fully renovated and refurbished it to create Thornton House luxury bed and breakfast.

We both love to travel and our own experiences, within New Zealand and internationally, gave us the ideas and inspiration for Thornton House as somewhere we would like to stay.

Being very familiar with the local area, we can also offer advice and assistance with local attractions, activities, restaurants and shopping.

We appreciate and are passionate about good food & wine and maintain a small wine cellar. Other interests include classic cars and Burmese cats.
